How much can you bend HDPE pipe?

We make ½ up to 4 inch in a variety of wall thicknesses. Custom lengths are available as well.

 

What is UL Listed and does Creek Plastics offer it?

UL stands for Underwriter’s laboratories. UL pipe is used for power applications and meets 651A standards. Most common colors are gray, black, red, and black with red stripes.

What wall type should be used when directionally boring?

SDR 11 is recommended by the Plastics Pipe Institute when directional boring due to the wall thickness.

 

Does Creek Plastics offer different colors of HDPE pipe?

Yes! Orange and Black are our biggest movers but red, blue, green, brown, grey, white and terra cotta are readily available. We have the resources to manufacturer whatever color you need. Remember, yellow is not available for conduit applications as it is used exclusively for gas pipe. Stripes are also available in any color. Stripes are 4 evenly spaced colored lines down the length of the pipe. These stripes help distinguish two common color pipes in one run.

 

Does Creek Plastics offer customer prints? Does Creek Plastics provide sequential markings?

Yes, customer prints are available per request. All pipe is marked with size, type, and footage every two feet.

 

Can Creek Plastics pre-install pull tape?

Yes, pre-installed pull tape is available. We also have small spools with 1000’, 2000’, and 3000’ available.

 

What standards does Creek Plastics HDPE meet?

Our HDPE conduit is made of 100% virgin resin certified to ASTM D-3350 specifications.

 

What is the difference between HDPE vs PVC?
